The Aspen Institute Business and Society Program, founded in 1998, works with business executives and scholars to align business decisions and investments with the long-term health of society—and the planet. The Program identifies and inspires thought leaders and “intrapreneurs” to challenge conventional ideas about capitalism and markets, to test new measures of business success and to connect classroom theory and business practice. Hyatt has been a member since 2015.
City Year is an education focused, nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to succeed. Hyatt and City Year Chicago first joined forces in 2011. Since then, Hyatt has signed on as a Team Sponsor and donates $100,000 annually to City Year Chicago.
Clean The World is a non-profit organization that collects recycled soap and shampoo products discarded by the hospitality industry and donates them to impoverished people around the world. Hyatt kicked off an official relationship with the organization in 2013.

Hyatt signed the End Child Prostitution and Trafficking (ECPAT) Tourism Child-Protection Code of Conduct (The Code) in 2015.

The Red Cross responds to approximately 66,000 disasters in the United States every year, ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes that affect tens of thousands, to earthquakes that impact millions. In these events, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, health and mental health services to help families and entire communities get back on their feet. Hyatt partners with the American Red Cross when our communities and families have been affected by disasters in the US.
The U.S. Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation. Hyatt has been a member of USGBC since 2009.
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is a leading global conservation organization that works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally. Since 2013, Hyatt has collaborated with WWF to help increase procurement of responsibly sourced seafood at our hotels across the globe.
The Youth Career Initiative (YCI) enables international hotels to provide a six-month education program for high school graduates from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program empowers its young participants to make informed career choices and realize the options available to them, enabling them to improve their employability and enhance their long-term social and economic opportunities.
