Environmental Sustainability
At Hyatt, we recognize the environmental impact associated with our hotels – and that's why we have made a strong, focused commitment to implement more sustainable business practices across our operations.
Through Hyatt Earth, we have been measuring the environmental performance of our managed, full-service hotels against a 2006 baseline. We've set goals to reduce the energy and water we use, the waste we send to landfills, and the greenhouse gases we emit. Given the size and scope of our operations, our success in meeting these goals relies on our dedicated, associate-driven Green Teams around the world.
Our Environmental Sustainability commitment is based on a simple premise: leverage innovative strategies that reflect the unique environment of our properties around the world, harness the passion of our associates to deliver change, and rigorously track and measure our progress.
