In 2011, we added 11 new-build properties, which created nearly 4,500 new jobs, and we expect our expanding pipeline to significantly contribute to the livelihood of our communities in countries around the world.

Thanks to a 14-year partnership with Hands On Education, more than 20 Hyatt properties have provided vocational training and career placement for 1,300 individuals with disabilities.
Through a special collaboration with Women for Women International, laundry bags for Andaz hotels globally are custom-made by a small community of women in war-torn Iraq. In 2011, Hyatt added 11 newly-built hotels worldwide, which created 4,500 new jobs
